Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse - AZ 85392

The food is really great here. It is clear that they make everything from scratch, which is increasingly rare these days. They have almost 100 beers on tap, so it was easy for me to find something that I really liked and was local. The pizzas are all different from the normal pizzeria lineup, and well worth a try. I understand the place has a new owner, named Alena. There is no doubt that she is the magic behind this place. I absolutely recommend coming to Parry’s. You can’t go wrong.

Good atmosphere, patrons were friendly, good beer, nice selection of NA drink options, since I'm a recovering alcoholic. Enjoy my experience but the pizza wasn't the best. Dry, not enough sauce or giardinaire, but everything else was good!

Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse is located off W McDowell Rd just east of N 107th Ave in Avondale. Our party was quickly greeted with a friendly hello as soon as we walked into the restaurant. During our entire visit, all the staff we interacted with were super friendly and pleasant. Parry's has a combination of booths, tables, and bar seats as well as a fairly large outdoor patio area. The patio area has a couple TVs out there. It also has a couple bar height tables with a roll up door, so you can sit inside and look out, or outside and look in, pretty cool. I'd say Parry's has at least 50 beers on draft, and good ones too. I will say, they have do have a nice selection of local craft beers which is always nice. The food was delicious! The pizza crust was out of this world. I don't usually eat pizza crust but this was too good to pass up. They have a lot to chose from on their menu, but I think I'd get the pizza again and probably pair it up with one of their Bloody Mary's. I'll get one of those next time I drop in.

Came in for my first time during lunch. Specials were great and food was delicious. Waitress was attentive and manager (some dude with an awesome mustache) stop by a couple of time to check on us and was helping the busy waitress which was nice to see. Definitely coming back to have some beer since their bar looked inviting but unfortunately was on the clock.

We ordered takeout the first time we visited. When I came in to pick up the order (I know this sounds strange) I could smell a really good smelling beer. I'm not normally a beer drinker, but it smelled so good that I wanted to come back and dine in next time so I could have a beer! Too much time has passed and I don't remember what we ordered, but I do remember that we really liked it. Also, I think they forgot to remove the meat from one of our pizzas so we had to pick it off. When I called, they said they would just give us a refund on the pizza, which was nice. We came back yesterday and unfortunately I didn't smell that good beer this time. There was a little time left in happy hour so we tried some beer and the Parmesan fries from the happy hour list. The fries were pretty good, but you didn't get very much. We ordered the Pearl pizza (minus meat) and it was so delicious. We really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to going back. That's saying a lot because I'm normally unhappy with all the pizza I've tried in Arizona. This is good pizza.
